I really ought to have called this section ‘About Me’, as I really can’t be bothered to write an actual biography. Also, it wouldn’t be very interesting if I did.
“I was born, and smacked on the arse, and then I was older.”

So; About Me.
My name, as the website address suggests, is Sam Halfpenny. I was born in 1986 in the little city of Lincoln, situated not too far from Nottingham, UK. I mention Nottingham, not because it features importantly in my life, but because it is the nearest place that most people will have heard of. I don’t like Lincoln. To be honest I’m not a big fan of England in general. I hesitate to pass judgement on the rest of the UK as I haven’t spent great amounts of time in those countries, but I fear that they wouldn’t be that dissimilar. Hopefully when I’m a rich and famous writer (it could happen), I will be able to move away to somewhere far more acceptable.
I haven’t been writing for very long, and only decided a few months ago that I was going to be famous from it. Unfortunately I’m not really sure how to go about promoting myself, but this website seemed like a start. If anybody has some helpful suggestions, there’s a link at the bottom of each page to contact me.
My short stories tend to be about nothing in particular, just ideas that turned into slightly longer musings.
I don’t really know what else to tell you right now, and I’m bored. So I’ll update this properly another time; enjoy the site!
